# Command-line programs

Part of Harness tools by Baltor.

Install recipes with the published checksum for each platform, and a typed wrapper that checks the arguments before the program runs. CSV, JSON, SQL and text tools your agent can call from a step.

## What to watch for

- An install without a checksum cannot show the download is the one published.
- Wrapping a program lets a step refuse a bad argument before anything runs.
- A program's licence travels with it, beside the recipe's own.
