Cylinder, cone, frustum and pipe
In your harnessMesh algorithmMIT
Generate straight solids of revolution: cylinders, cones, truncated cones and bored pipes, with flat-shaded caps and UVs. Use it for columns, cups, nozzles, pipes and lamp shades.

What it takes and gives
- Entry points
- frustum, main
- Parameters
- bottom_radius, top_radius, height, segments, inner_radius, caps
- Complexity
- O(segments)
- Axes
- +Y up, metres
Limits. Only straight sides (no curved profile; see a lathe for that) and a constant-radius bore. Caps and walls own separate vertices for sharp shading, so closed results are watertight after welding. A cone apex holds one vertex per segment.
