Loft through a stack of profiles
In your harnessMesh algorithmMIT
Skin a closed solid through a sequence of closed profiles, resampled to equal counts by arc length and aligned to avoid twisting, with capped ends. Use it for bottles, hulls, towers and organic forms.

What it takes and gives
- Entry points
- resample_closed, align, loft, demo_profiles, build, main
- Parameters
- shape, samples
- Complexity
- O(profiles * samples^2) for the alignment search
- Axes
- +Y up, metres
Limits. Profiles should be planar, simple and stacked without crossing each other; the alignment tries every cyclic shift (quadratic in the sample count). Corners are kept only when resampling lands on them. Side quads between non-parallel profiles are not planar.
