Picket fence along a path
In your harnessBlender toolMIT
Build a picket fence that follows a path of ground points: capped posts at corners and at even bay spacing, two rails per bay following the ground slope, and evenly spaced pickets with pointed, flat, round or dog-ear tops. Use it for gardens, farms, suburbs and game levels.

What it takes and gives
- Operator
- baltor.picket_fence
- Parameters
- points, height, post_spacing, post_size, picket_width, picket_gap, picket_thickness, top
- Result
- One mesh object named Picket Fence with post, rail and picket material slots.
- Blender
- 4.2 or later
- Axes
- Blender Z up, -Y forward
- Units
- metres
Limits. Pickets stay vertical and their bottoms step along a straight ground line between path points; uneven terrain between points is not followed. No gates, diagonal braces or rail joinery. Every part is a separate closed solid that touches its neighbours. Verified in Blender 5.2.1; written for the 4.2 API.
