Sequin and paillette fabric

In your harnessProcedural textureMIT

Generate tileable PBR maps of sequinned fabric: overlapping metallic discs in offset rows, each with its own tilt, a dished face and a centre hole, over the backing mesh, including holographic foil. Use for evening dresses, stage costumes, party props, bags and glam set dressing.

Render of Sequin and paillette fabric
The render its check recorded in Godot 4.7.2, 256 by 256 pixels.

Limits. Sequins are flat discs with a sloped and dished height, one layer per row in a fixed overlap order; there is no stitching thread across the face, no loose or flipped sequins and no reversible two-tone sequins. Sparkle comes from per-sequin normal tilt in the normal map, so it depends on the renderer's lights and reflections. Holographic colour is a hue wheel driven by tilt direction, a stylized stand-in for diffraction, and does not change with view angle. Occlusion is a blurred-height estimate, not ray traced.

Checks
command line generates declared maps, maps decode, maps have declared size and channels, maps tile without a seam, normal vectors unit length facing out, maps carry detail, godot imports the maps, godot material template loads every map, godot compatibility render, capture shows the textured surface, blender builds the material
Techniques
Offset-row disc packing with whole counts on the torus, Nearest-nine search with a local overlap order (row above covers row below), Per-disc random tilt planes for normal-map sparkle, Dished disc height and bevelled rim, Hue wheel driven by tilt direction for holographic foil, Height to tangent-space normal by central differences
