Kochanek-Bartels tension, continuity and bias spline
In your harnessMesh algorithmMIT
Interpolate keys with cubic Hermite segments whose tangents are shaped by tension, continuity and bias, as in animation key editors. Use it for motion paths and value curves with overshoot or sharp keys.

What it takes and gives
- Entry points
- hermite, tcb_tangents, tcb_spline, build, main
- Parameters
- tension, continuity, bias, samples_per_segment
- Complexity
- O(keys * samples_per_segment)
- Axes
- +Y up, metres
Limits. Keys are equally spaced in time; uneven key times would need the tangent scaling of the original paper, which is not applied. Large continuity values make visible corners by design. Open ends repeat the neighbour difference.
