Pebbled and suede leather

In your harnessProcedural textureMIT

Generate tileable PBR maps of leather: rounded pebble grain with a crease network, fine creases, pores, fold wrinkles, burnished wear, a cracked old finish or a brushed suede nap. Use for car seats, sofas, bags, saddles, jackets, book covers and armchairs.

Render of Pebbled and suede leather
The render its check recorded in Godot 4.7.2, 256 by 256 pixels.

Limits. The grain is a warped cellular pattern with noise creases, a stylized stand-in for real hide structure; species-specific grains (ostrich, crocodile, snake) are out of scope. Wrinkles are noise crests, not simulated folds, and the suede nap is a fibre-noise and brushing-patch approximation without directional sheen. Wear and cracks are noise-driven and spread evenly rather than following seams or edges. Details finer than two pixels are dropped at small sizes. Occlusion is a blurred-height estimate, not ray traced. Colours are artistic, not measured.

Checks
command line generates declared maps, maps decode, maps have declared size and channels, maps tile without a seam, normal vectors unit length facing out, maps carry detail, godot imports the maps, godot material template loads every map, godot compatibility render, capture shows the textured surface, blender builds the material
Techniques
Worley cells on a torus with edge distance for pebbles and creases, Rounded caps from the distance to each cell's feature point, Zero crossings of gradient noise as fine creases, Two-scale domain warping of the cell field, Ridged fractal noise for fold wrinkles, Height-driven burnish mask for wear, Height to tangent-space normal by central differences
