Brick wall courses in four bonds

In your harnessProcedural textureMIT

Generate tileable PBR maps of a brick wall in running, Flemish, English or stack bond, with recessed mortar, rounded and chipped edges and per-brick colour. Use for building walls, chimneys and garden walls.

Render of Brick wall courses in four bonds
The render its check recorded in Godot 4.7.2, 256 by 256 pixels.

What it takes and gives

Entry point
generate
Maps
albedo, normal, roughness, height, ao
Parameters
bond, course_pairs, bricks_per_course, mortar_width, joint_depth, bevel, chipping, colour_variation and 4 more
Presets
default, weathered, flemish_buff, english_brown, glazed_stack
Tileable
yes
Command line
python brick_courses.py --size 1024 --seed 7 --preset NAME --out DIR [--width W --height H] [--set NAME=VALUE] [--directx-normal] [--orm]
Godot material
material.tres
Blender builder
blender_material.build_material(folder)

Limits. Bricks are flat rectangles with rounded edges; there are no corner returns, cut bricks or openings. The bond repeats every two courses, so a tile shows an even number of courses. Salt bloom, soot and chips are noise-driven approximations. Occlusion is a blurred-height estimate, not ray traced. Colours are artistic, not measured from real clay.
